WINTER SOLSTICE

This year my winter collection is all about the winter solstice. For me, winter is always the time when I notice the sun the most, and consciously try to connect with nature as much as possible. It’s the waning light, falling leaves, shutting down. And then little by little, new growth appears, the days creep slowly longer, winter is complete.

Inspired by this I have created a winter collection featuring illustrated plants that evoke wintertime: juniper, eucalyptus, dried cow parsley, and privet berries. Each in different phases of existence.

BAUBLES

Hand-painted ceramic baubles, perfect for decorating your home this winter and Christmas time. Painted in dark and light grey, each bauble features botanical leaf designs on two sides in opposing colours. Threaded with black or green velvet ribbon ready to hang.

CARDS

I’m a huge lover of cards (you may have guessed!) and this year I wanted to make something homely, and warm, to pair with the juxtaposition of the line-drawn botanical illustrations. Using handmade 100% cotton rag paper, it gives the cards a wonderful soft quality and has fabulous natural imperfections in the paper grain.

A6 cards in four different botanical designs: juniper, dried eucalyptus leaves, and dried cow parsley. They are available in three styles - with the line drawing only, or with the message ‘A Winter’s Tale’ or ‘Warmest Winter Wishes’

GIFT TAGS

Continuing the line drawings onto gift tags, these feature eucalyptus, dried cow parsley, and privet berries. They can be threaded with either lovely grey twine or black velvet ribbon. A perfect accompaniment to a gift.
