BESPOKE VENUE STATIONERY FOR A LAKE DISTRICT WEDDING
It was such a pleasure to design M&A’s venue stationery for their weekend wedding at Silverholme Manor. Having created their invitations (which you can read about here), we wanted to continue to reflect the landscape around the venue, nature, and adventure through their stationery and continue the same elements, illustration, and calligraphy style, so that the invitations would feel like a seamless part of the wedding itself.
WELCOME PACKAGES
As part of their weekend stationery, M&A wanted to create welcome packages for each guest that included a welcome letter, weekend details, and a folded transport schedule, that gave more detailed timings and suggestions for walks and activities. The package was bound together with a thin band with the words Love betters what is best, a meaningful quote also used for their invitations.

SEATING PLAN
The seating plan featured line drawing illustrations of the peaks, bespoke handwritten calligraphy, and a little pun too!
TABLE SIGNAGE
MENUS
For their menus, M&A wanted to celebrate the provenance of their locally sourced food, so I used the olive green from their invitation envelopes and created a detailed card to be wrapped around the menu.
TABLE NAMES
Each table was named after one of the couple’s favourite peaks, with illustrations similar to those in their invitation map, and paired with calligraphy in a dark plum colour.
NAME CARDS
Each name card featured the modern typeface and line illustration of the peaks. I used the rich, dark plum accent from their colour palette, to separate these from the menus and to stand out at the table.
SUSTAINABILITY
All of M&A’s stationery were made from sustainable papers (actually made in the Lake District!), to complement their nature-inspired wedding.
It was such a delight to be involved in M&A’s wedding, and to create their stationery. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to design for, or a better brief. Thank you M&A!
